A Spanish woman becomes the first person in the world to be given a new organ grown from her own stem cells.
In an operation involving scientists in the UK the woman received a new windpipe and five months on she has fully recovered.
It is being hailed as a breakthrough that could revolutionise transplant surgery and brings the development of personalised body parts a step closer to reality.
