Play Park a Lot for free
Car-parking carnage. "You have to try and park the cars and give them back to their owners in a set time limit - it's really addictive and fun to play", says Lucy, who is clearly much better at it than we are, as we found the first few times we played it an indescribable nightmare. For any masochists who thought the "parallel parking" challenge was their favourite bit of the Driver's Ed game, this adds to the pressure of trying to back into an empty space both by playing jaunty music and by building up a queue of customers who all either want their cars parked or fetched from wherever you put them.
The game doesn't exactly ease you in either, with the drivers yelling out code numbers (which, if you miss, you're stuck) as soon as they drop off their cars, a tree obscuring the handy left-hand lane, and one (presumably very popular) clubber leaving you in charge of a big yellow American schoolbus. Later levels may include such easy-to-reverse vehicles as an articulated lorry and a tractor pulling a cart of manure, for all we know.
Controls: Arrow keys for walking or driving direction, Space - handbrake (stop), Backspace (above Return on most keyboards) - get out of car.
Tips: It looks you're supposed to stick the cars in the bays their drivers give the numbers for, but it's a lot easier to stick them in the front row (eg 113 instead of 103) - there isn't usually too much confusion at the start.
